I’ve always been sensitive to strong artificial scents to the point where I stopped wearing perfume altogether for a while.
Most traditional perfumes felt overpowering to me, so I naturally started leaning toward lighter, more natural scents instead. This blend came out of that search: something clean and grounding, without being too intense. Because it’s oil-based, it also doubles as a moisturizing body oil which made it an easy addition to a slower morning routine.
This is definitely a light scent. It fades gently throughout the day and stays close to the skin. If you’re looking for a bold perfume that fills a room, this probably isn’t for you. But if you love soft, herbal scents that feel more like skincare than fragrance, I think you’ll enjoy it.
What You’ll Need

Jojoba oil: ⅓ cup
Base carrier: lightweight, non-greasy, absorbs beautifully
Eucalyptus essential oil: 3 full droppers
Cool, clean top note
Rosemary essential oil: 3 full droppers
Earthy, herbal mid note
Tea tree essential oil: ½ dropper
Reduce or skip if preferred
Fresh lavender: 1 teaspoon
Soft floral base, gently infuses the oil over time – You can also sub Lavender Essential Oil about 1/2 of a full dropper
A full dropper is however much draws up in one squeeze of the bulb — usually around 1 mL
You’ll also need a 100 mL spray bottle. You can also use a roller bottle instead. I transferred some into a roller for travel and honestly it works even better since the blend is oil based. Use what you have.
How I Use It
In the morning, I spray a small amount onto my wrists and rub together and then press some onto my neck and chest rubbing it in. It’s a moment I’ve come to look forward to. Since it’s oil-based, it absorbs like a lightweight body oil rather than misting away like alcohol-based perfume. It leaves behind a soft herbal scent while also helping with dry skin.

A Few Things To Note
- This is a very light, natural scent it fades gently and stays close to the skin rather than projecting.
- Tea tree comes through clearly in this blend. If you’re not a fan of that sharper note, start with less or leave it out entirely.
- Because it’s oil-based, avoid spraying directly onto clothing it can leave a faint mark on some fabrics.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to keep the oils fresh.

Jojoba oil is one of those ingredients that quietly shows up everywhere: scalp oils, face serums, blends like this one. Simple, but it does a lot. I hope you love this one as much as I do.
