Berry Chia Seed Jam Dressing

A simple homemade salad dressing made from the last spoonful of berry chia jam, olive oil, Dijon mustard, coconut aminos, and nutritional yeast. An easy way to reduce waste and create a flavorful dressing with ingredients you already have on hand.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • 1 lemon wedge squeezed
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 spoonful berry chia jam or the last spoonful left in the jar

Instructions
 

  • Add the olive oil, nutritional yeast, Dijon mustard, coconut aminos, lemon juice, salt, and berry chia jam to a small jar.
  • Secure the lid and shake until fully combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

Notes

This recipe was inspired by using the last spoonful of homemade berry chia jam instead of washing out the jar right away. The jam adds natural sweetness and fruit flavor while the jar becomes the mixing bowl and storage container all in one.
