DIY Rich Hair Mask
A rich, whipped DIY hair mask made with nourishing butters and oils for soft, deeply moisturized hair. This homemade treatment is customizable, deeply conditioning, and made with simpler ingredients you can feel good about using.

- 3/4 cup shea butter
- 1/3 cup mango butter
- 1/4 cup jojoba oil
- 2 tbsp argan oil
- 1 tbsp broccoli seed oil
- 2 –3 full droppers rosemary essential oil
- Optional: 3 full droppers guava fragrance or essential oil
- 5 –10 drops grapefruit essential oil
Add the shea butter and mango butter to a heat-safe bowl and melt gently using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals, stirring between each round.
Stir in the jojoba oil, argan oil, and broccoli seed oil.
Allow the mixture to cool slightly before adding the essential oils.
Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until partially solidified.
Whip with a hand mixer until light and creamy.
Transfer to an 8 oz amber glass jar for storage.
- Customize the essential oils to your preference.
- Store in a sealed glass jar away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Apply mainly to the mid-lengths and ends of the hair after shampooing. Leave on for 5-10 minutes.
