  • Spatula or scraper
  • Glass jar for storing

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups roasted peanuts
  • 1 pinch sea salt optional

  • 1 tsp olive oil or coconut oil optional, for extra creaminess

Instructions

  • Add peanuts to a food processor or high-speed blender.
  • Blend for 3-5 minutes, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. It will look crumbly, then thick, then suddenly smooth and creamy.
  • Add salt, honey, or oil if desired and blend briefly to combine.
  • For chunky peanut butter, add a small handful of peanuts at the end and pulse a few times.
  • Transfer to a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Roasted peanuts give the best flavor
  • Blend longer for extra creamy
  • Making it for your dog? Skip all add-ins and use plain peanuts only
  • Double batch and give some to friends or family
